Our orchard is on the old McJanet Farm, on the Third Line of Bristol. There had been an orchard there at the start of the 20th century, but over time the farm was given over to wheat, corn, and cattle.
In 2004, we began planting the first commercial orchard in the county in over 100 years. Using 10 year-old rootstock, we planted over 12 acres of Northern Spy, Gala, Paula Red, Honey Crisp, Spartan, and other varieties.
Situated on the edge of the growing region, on a mix of ancient sea-shore and glacial tills, our apples capture the unique taste of the Pontiac: our own terroir.
